How much sharing is over-sharing?
When words are lent and borrowed.
When sorrow can no longer be borne.
When the feather called joy in its tender
flight your cheek gently strokes.
How much sharing is over-sharing?
A glass of wine for me and you.
Sharing loneliness with a table for two.
Arms wide open – a hug, can we ever share enough love?
How much sharing is over-sharing?
When a piece of pie is in five pieces cut,
and hope in measure sought.
Are memories from yore ever over shared, or
reminisce bought?
How much sharing is over-sharing?
Well, none at all.
How can we share the ocean when each one’s is every drop.
